Application Process

- Access the Candidate Portal: Click on the Candidate Portal button on the homepage.
- Register on JOAPS: Provide your name, email address, mobile number, and set a password.
- Enrolment ID and OTP: You will receive your Enrolment ID and OTP on your registered email and mobile number.
- Log in: Use your Enrolment ID and password to log in and submit the application.
- Enter Information: Fill in the required details and upload the necessary documents.
- Pay the Fee: Pay the application fee through any electronic payment mode.

Eligibility Criteria
- Open to all nationalities with no age restrictions.

Exam Pattern
The JAM 2025 exam will be a Computer Based Test (CBT) with a total of 60 questions, carrying 100 marks, divided into three sections:
- Section A: 30 Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs) with 10 questions of one mark each and 20 questions of two marks each.
- Section B: 10 Multiple Select Questions (MSQs), each carrying two marks.
- Section C: 20 Numerical Answer Type (NAT) questions with 10 questions of one mark each and 10 questions of two marks each.
Exam Fee
- General Candidates: ₹1800 for one paper, ₹2500 for two papers.
- Female/SC/ST/PwD Candidates: ₹900 for one paper, ₹1250 for two papers.
- Change Fee: ₹300 for changing examination cities, test papers, category, or gender.
Examination Cities
JAM 2025 will be conducted in eight zones: IISc Bengaluru Zone, IIT Bombay Zone, IIT Delhi Zone, IIT Guwahati Zone, IIT Kanpur Zone, IIT Kharagpur Zone, IIT Madras Zone, and IIT Roorkee Zone. Candidates must specify their first, second, and third choices of cities during application.
Syllabus and Admission Criteria
